Philebrity Translator: Olympic Gold!

Statement from Mayor John F. Street on the U.S. Olympic Committee’s DecisionWe thank the citizens of Philadelphia and the region for standing behind this project and for thinking and dreaming big. While we are disappointed to hear of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s decision, we’re honored to have made it to the second round of the process. Philadelphia will support any American city that may ultimately be selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee to bid on the 2016 games.
As a world-class city we remain committed to raising Philadelphia’s profile as an international destination and a host City for world-class events.
We look forward to a continuing relationship with the U.S. Olympic Committee through the Community Partner Program. This valuable partnership will assist Philadelphia if and when it pursues Olympic dreams again in the future.
After the jump, Philebrity puts too fine a point on it.

Statement from Mayor John F. Street on the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Decision[Note: Delivered on embossed stationery that reads, "Everybody Look Busy! The Boss Is Coming!"]
Motherfuckers. We can’t fucking win for losing with this shit. We are truly sorry to the city of Philadelphia, oh hell, why even act, at this point? Listen: We fucked up, but we ain’t sorry. Being sorry’s for bitches. And while we are disappointed to hear of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s decision, we’re also not exactly broken up that we don’t have to deal with Eurotrash, even more fannypacking fat Midwesterners and having to build a bunch of shit we’ll never use again anyway. (Alright, scratch that last part - we love building useless shit. Disney Hole, anyone?) Philadelphia will support any American city that may ultimately be selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee to bid on the 2016 games ‚Äî by asking them to lick deez nutz.
As a world-class city, we remain committed to raising Philadelphia’s profile (in the most shameful, ass-backward ways we can think of) as an international destination and a host City for world-class events. Such as the Diamond G-String Competition at Delilah’s. Damn right it’s fixed, honey!
We look forward to a continuing relationship with the U.S. Olympic Committee through the Community Partner Program. Sike. This valuable partnership will assist Philadelphia if and when it pursues Olympic dreams again in the future. Hahahaha. Whatever.
