Gary Walker, 48, a waiter from Prospect Park, told PGN he was mugged as he left a bar during two recent visits to Center City.

The first incident occurred about 2:15 a.m. May 18 on the 200 block of South Fawn Street.

Walker said five youths pushed him up against a chain-link fence and stole about $230. “They even took my diabetes medication,” he added.

On June 5 at 2:30 a.m., also on the 200 block of South Fawn , another group of youths allegedly assaulted him.

“It was raining and they threw me into a puddle on Fawn Street,” Walker said. “They took off my shoes, socks and pants and took about $100 that I had hidden in my socks.”
