Philly Mag Writer/Eating Contest Author Too Full To Swallow NY Times Book Review, Writes Strongly Worded Letter To The Editor
My book centers on people who eat hot dogs for a living, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be reviewed in the spirit of an especially boorish drivetime D.J. In assigning the review to a writer more interested in making smug jokes than engaging what I actually wrote, it appears that The Times was judging the book by its cover.
