Philebrity Homeroom Announcements: You’re Living All Over Me
>>> As you read this, we here at Philebrity are working furiously on our latest venture, The Philebrity Reader, a gorgeous, hi-tech piece of junk mail that you will never be able to live without once you start getting it. Think of it as the Philebrity that only YOU read. Check the link to peep last week’s issue, and please do sign up for it in the little sign-up block at right. Oh, and save the date for Monday, June 5: For it’s Revenge Of The Nerds: The Philebrity Reader Launch Party at The Trocadero. You love it.
>>> Hey, remember that sweet block party we had on Hancock Street? We’re doing it again, and again. This summer, Philebrity is presenting a little something we’re calling Series 1021 on Hancock Street, which will comprise lots of different types of events, from movie screenings to concerts to good ol’ street fair type action. And we’re booking it now. So if you have wares to sell, movies to screen or music to play, get in touch with us. (Note to bands: You read this site, right? OK, then before you send music, use this handy guide ‚Äî if your band a) has any member who wears shorts on stage OR b) describes your sound as either “discopunk” or “Dragon City,” just get up and walk away from the computer right now.) But the rest of you? Bring it on, we say! June schedule is being booked, like, today.
