Readers Write: Johnny Brenda’s Footloose Moment
For you and your readin’ public… and to keep the record straight… the vote to approve Johnny Brenda’s upstairs music venue and sidewalk seating at the Fishtown Neighborhood Association went in favor of JB’s 160-8 (roughly). We even won a few converts in a couple of the old timers who were impressed with William and Paul’s “character” and presentation. No doubt the awesome turnout of support helped. The packed house was subsequently encouraged to participate in future Fishtown concerns (like when the hell are we going to tear down that godforsaken KFC?).
Hey, easy there, buddy. That “godforsaken” KFC you speak of feeds more morbidly obese Fishtonian kids in one afternoon than you do in a month, buster.
