Little birdies just blew our minds: According to music biz sources, The Spinto Band have just nabbed a £700,000 licensing deal from Virgin UK. Now, is this true? We don’t know, exactly, but assuming it is, the deal would probably look something like this. First off, in U.S. dough, that’s about $1.2 million, though with taxes, who knows. But it would probably be enough to put all 19 of the young Spintos through Penn for at least a few semesters each. And we’re also guessing that the deal would cover Europe and some other parts of the world, but not the U.S., where the band is currently signed to Bar-None. Meanwhile, the UK press blitz for the groop continues. This Is Fake DIY has written them up a few times already, and shit, man, you just know that British girlfriends cannot be far off.
