Club Kama Sutra: The Dream Is Over

bctaWell, limp-dicked local news media, we hope you’re happy now. Philly’s Zoning Board declared yesterday ó by unanimous, sanctimonious and resume-building vote ó that South Street’s leading destination for flabby soccer mom anonymous trysts is no more. No, silly, we’re not talking about Greene Street Consignment! We’re talking about Club Kama Sutra. Those of you who remember the faux flap surrounding the media (and L&I’s subsequent) “discovery” of the club will also note well that this whole thing was a railroad job from the get-go. And really, when you get down to it (not that there will be that much more “getting down to it” anyway, thanks, you fucking narcs), so what if they didn’t let gay men into this paradise of watch-my-wife-dyke-out suburban male fantasy? So what if the clientele were reportedly mostly, oddly, from the burbs? They were having sex, and that was the important thing. And you doofuses stopped them. City of Philadelphia, we’d like to congratulate on another stellar handling of an obviously pressing quality-of-life issue. Great work. You should all be proud of yourselves.
