Paul Green School Of Rock To Launch Magazine
Over the transom comes the news that The Paul Green School Of Rock, the city’s (and perhaps nation’s) foremost outpost for teaching your tween to yowlp like Robert Plant and scree like Thurston Moore, is launching its own eponymous mag. Geared directly to the same kinds of kids (and most likely parents) it teaches, the pitch goes thusly: “Inside the pages of Paul Greenís School of Rock Magazine you will find cutting edge, smart, youth-oriented editorial contentóCD reviews, feature stories, gear reviews, and lessonsó written by the editors of Guitar Player, Bass Player, Keyboard, EQ, and Frets; and students from the School of Rock, Paul Green, and his teachers.” Which is to say, you will find many articles that try against hope to fight fire with crap and teach fans of Good Charlotte the merits of Jethro Tull and Frank Zappa. Mazel tov, Rock School! May you never have a Radar moment.
