Captain Freeshit: Echo & The Bunnymen PART DEUX!
There is palpable excitement in the Philebrity offices today, people, and there is but one reason why: We are but a day away from the triumphant return of Echo & The Bunnymen, who play tomorrow night at the TLA. (With support from Innaway and just-added Giant Drag.) And I mean, seriously: Do we honestly have to tell you how epic and awesome it was last time they were here? I think not. Suffice it to say, though, that after more than two decades (gosh, nearly three) and some of highest highs and lowest lows any band has ever suffered, Echo & The Bunnymen bring it these days. Last time around, they played the hits, the new stuff and even plenty of nods for the trainspotters and oh God I am getting so psyched I have to stop typing and cue up “The Cutter” like, RIGHT NOW.
