This Weekend: Arcadabacchanoodles!

p2Friday:
>>> Time to bust out the beers, steers, queers and cheers: PalarÈ is back at Silk City and this time, it’s personal. For those who missed the smashing debut, Roy Batty, TT Creed and Julia Factorial throw a party that could equally be described as “arcadian,” “bacchanalian” and “fucking banoodles” alike. 9pm, $5.
>>> And oh no they didn’t! Spinto Band and Mitch Fiction & The Shits at The North Star! Somebody! Get me a shoehorn, because this is going to be packed.
Saturday:
>>> And of course, near and dear to our hearts is The Plain Parade 3rd Anniversary Party at Tritone, which doubles as a listening party for Songs From The Sixth Borough, out on Tuesday. Congratulations, ladies, on a great run this far and may you have many, many more years filled with opportunites to a) get mad at us and b) get interviewed by Cool Doug. Mazel tov!
>>> Making Time with Love Is All and Greggggg Forrrreemannnnnn at Transit. See below.
>>> Not your cup of Sparks? Then get realllllll mellow with Gary Higgins and Espers at The Khyber.
>>> And if you fall into the exotic demographic that is both super-bummed that Club Kama Sutra got shut down and you’re looking for somewhere to don a diaper in public, hey, there’s Diabolique. Go with God, young sexsoldier.
Sunday:
>>> We got nothing ó at least nothing that isn’t Socket or Destroy Your Liver ó so we highly recommend the Sunday Times (tried the Inky last weekend for the first time in a while and it was just depressing) and perhaps, if you’re crafty and call ahead to reserve the dough, Taconelli’s.
