Philebrity Afterparty Makes The Times… Sort Of
Remember when we told you how we spotted J-Press at the Philebrity Weekender afterparty with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah? Well, um, in case you don’t read the New York Times:
Around 2 a.m. the band was ready for the next stop: a warehouse party that
is a red-lighted, hip-hop thumping oasis in the urban desert. “Rock ‘n’
roll!” one of the twins shouted.
Vitamin Water and vodkas were passed around, and Mr. Ounsworth mingled
while his band mates huddled near the bar, wallflowers at a grown-up prom.
But not for long. A young woman in glasses approached shyly. “Are you in
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah?” she asked. “You guys are so cool.”
Damn. Say our name, Pressler! Shiiiiiiiit.
