Cute Band Alert: Bottom of the Hudson
As the Trouble Everyday juggernaut continues to spin its wheels in the suburbs, former TE-er Chris Doyle wants you to know (snap, snap!) that he’s moved o-on. This Friday, Doyle debuts on guitar for new indie sensations Bottom of the Hudson. Coincidentally, BotH are the featured download in this week’s Entertainment Weekly and with their GBV/Archers of Loaf/Pavement-inspired rock, are primed to make a big splash on Philly’s burgeoning we’re-still-so-nostalgic-for-the-mid-90s music scene. Says Doyle, watch out for BotH’s new EP, Holiday Machine, and keep on keepin’ on.
