We’re not gonna lie to you: We are jocking Philth Magazine like it’s 1997 and our cousin is dating one of the Interpreters. Actually, we’re jocking them even harder than that. The design is sweet, the photography is awesome, and they actually make it look sometimes like good looking people actually live here. (This is true, of course, but you’d never know it from the constant parade of butterfaces in Philly Style or Philly Mag.) Their new issue posits Philly as a “city of boroughs,” with each neighborhood getting treated to some Helmut Newton-style farcical sex-shoot treatment. Pretty funny. Anyway, the new issue is out now, and there’s a release party tonight at North (222 South St.) at 7pm. You should go, and snap pics of the cheez whiz girl if she’s there.
