On Thursday, parking in Philadelphia got a lot easier with the launch of a Web service by the Philadelphia Parking Authority, which finds the closest, cheapest, available parking spot to your city destination.
I know what you’re thinking, right? Awesome! But seriously: What do you think this really is? Some awesome GPS shit? An online ground […]

Rumors said Michael Jackson is preparing a career comeback only days after being cleared of child sex abuse and intend to perform at next month’s Live 8 concert.

I was minding my business
Lifting some lead off
The roof of the Holy Name church

>>> Good on them Daily News-ers for simply refusing to let people ignore the Downing Street memo, taking it even to their podcast.

Seriously: There is STILL no signed contract for this Live 8 mess. Why? Honestly? Why why why why why.
So far Mayor Street has not detailed how much this endeavor will cost the city - given the services and Police and Fire departments overtime - but it appears Philly will shoulder much of the cost.
Shocking, right?

Alright, someone has finally got to speak up: While we know that the death of police officer Paris Williams was lamentable for so very many reasons, and while we also know that these entitled, bullshit, puppet-phisting biotech protesters are emblematic of just about everything that’s wrong with the left these days, doesn’t it also seem […]

>>> Blatstein-mania! Icepack reports that “Black” Randy Walker of Standard Tap and Conduit fame (by the way, Angelo, that’s very, uh, sensitive of you) may have some new digs on Liberties Walk?
>>> Which would considerably give Blatstein even more cachet since he’s also the friendly neighborhood grocer behind the Palm Market. Oh, wait, he’s not? […]

In which our hero, one Bill Cosby, literally adds insult to injury by questioning the motives of women who claim they’ve been assaulted. By him. Eleven of them.
It “appears that the real point of seeking anonymity at this stage is to tar the defendant’s reputation in the media with anonymous accusations by individuals who may […]

The only sour note during the 3-5 p.m. LOVE Park skate-in came when a skateboarder fell during a trick, sending his skateboard into the foot of a Philadelphia narcotics officer.
It was clearly an accident, but the officer deliberately sat down on a bench that kids were doing tricks on and proceeded to eat an apple […]

>>> And lastly, a riddle: What do you get when you blur out all the titties in the Louis XIV video? (Answer: Who is Louis […]

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission told the organizers to hold off - and threatened fines if they went forward - until the commission decided whether it would regulate the exhibitions, which put dentists, lawyers and police officers in the ring against each other.
And you boys don’t see the irony, do you.
Inky: “Actually, We Kinda Just […]
