While I myself had mixed emotions about there being a
Fishtown parade (let alone being in one), in the end,
most feedback from the street was quite positive. At
worst, there were gawks as stunned Fishtown folk
lipped the words “what the fuck”. At best, we got
some kids to join in and yell a little bit.Granted, a parade by a bunch of “yuppie outsiders” is
probably the last thing Fishtown needs, but is it
really any more stupid then say……a Philly
media/gossip/nightlife/culture/politics website.
