This Evening: Makin’ It!

Madeinsheffield >>> Stay Loose and Philebrity both are pretty excited about our first foray into movie-screening tonight with the spot-on documentary about early ’80s post-punk-pop, Made In Sheffield. Click on the flyer for the full lay of the land, but just a few FYI’s before we see you all tonight:
1. The movie will start at 9:30 sharp Upstairs at The Khyber. It runs a little over an hour.
2. Afterwards, J. Gabriel Boylan and the Sweenster will commence the post-punk-pop-partytrain danceup with the DJing of appropriate musics old and new: Human League, Cut Copy, ABC, Josef K, Orange Juice, Air, Erlend Oye, Avalanches, Phoenix, etc. Good times.
3. This shit is free.
To summarize, then: Made In Sheffield is awesome, and you should see it. Afterwards, there will be hanging out and dancing in an obscure new-wave stylee. Lastly, Philebrity and Plexifilm are so psyched that we’ll be giving stuff away starting right now. Would you like a Made In Sheffield fun pack, including DVD, poster, button and mixtape? Send an email to tips[at]philebrity.com straight away. Do it do it do it. See yiz tonight!
