No real reason to print this, really. But we saw this crazy list of guitar effects pedals that Rocco Elevator Parade put up on Myspace, and frankly, the names of his shit just made us smile. PRESCRIPTION ELECTRONICS “EXPERIENCE”? What? What does that even do? No idea, dude. No idea.

A TOP TEN FOR THE GUITAR GEEKS

These are my top ten effects pedals. I highly suggest you purchase them if you’re as big a guitar freak as I am.

1) Z.VEX FUZZ FACTORY- the most out of control fuzz I have ever owned!

2) WAY HUGE SWOLLEN PICKLE- it’s like a big muff on meth. Far better than any PI I’ve ever played

3) LOVETONE BIG CHEESE- it’s like a fuzz face/proco rat/broken speaker roled into one. Rare so if you see one…grab it!

4) PRESCRIPTION ELECTRONICS “EXPERIENCE”- it’s a little hard to hit the foot switches(all 3 are close together) but the sound screams psychedelic. think hendrix and the creation

5) ELECTRO HARMONIX 16 SECOND DIGITAL DELAY- the delay is great and the loop takes the cake. might I also suggest getting the additional footswitch it makes all the difference.

6) CROWTHER AUDIO PRUNES AND CUSTARD- I can’t exactly explain what this thing does other than it has a slight distortion that decays into a synth like sweep. Kinda a moog/superfuzz. I know that Jeff Tweedy uses one (thats kinda why I bought mine)

7) Z.VEX SUPER DUPER 2 in 1- This baby is the mother of all clean boost/overdrive pedals. I strongly urge that one be careful with it…the thing can REALLY blow your amp up!

8) DUNLOP TREMOLO/PAN- I must say that I own a few tremolos including the Boss Tremolo/Pan,and I still think this one does the best job. It has a stereo function for you MBV FREAKS

9) MOOGER FOOGER 12 STAGE PHASER- the good bpeople at moog have outdone themselves with their line of mooger fooger pedals. This phaser is the best I’ve played yet. You can plug up to 4 expression pedals into it to control any of the knobs. Truly amazing!

10) EFFECTOR 13 S+M (SODA MEISER)- I don’t think this one is a full production model,but you can get them from Devi Ever the guy who builds them in Austin Texas. Its like an octavia on crack but flip a switch and it is a spot on clone of an old ampeg scrambler.

All of these pedals have their own vibe,and I could probably make a top 50 pedal list but I know that just crosses the line from geek to retard!
