A few kind readers wrote in yesterday regarding our incredulous reaction to the idea that the original “I’d Like To Buy The World A Coke” commercial was shot here. Turns out, it wasn’t. The original was shot in Rome. All we got, as a city, was the crappy new version, shot in Philly, with the tune now being blackfaced, whoops, we mean, sung by G. Love.
