Remember when the area north of Broad was a place where people, i.e. people who make less than a million spacebucks a year, could actually afford to live? Sure, you had to wade through a pile of broken crack pipes to get to your front door, but still. Well, if developer Eric Blumenfeld has his way the neighborhood will be yet another enclave for yuppies to drink soy chai lattes while shopping online for monogrammed sweaters for their pugs.
Right, cause this is exactly what the city needs, another crop of luxury condos.
