Many people ask Benny what brought him to Philly from the golden shores of California where barefoot children dance while doing shots of wheatgrass. Well, if truth be told, Benny came because of a little band called The Trouble With Sweeney. They made a record in 2003 that was probably the most overlooked record of the year. Even critics who were busy overlooking it admitted to overlooking it while overlooking it. But, they’re a band from Philly and they’re not signed to National Parking..so love is hard to come by.

But, then the Trouble got so sick of indie rock because it felt so white and the band dis-banded.

Well folks, the Trouble is getting back together for a one-time affair this weekend and it’s Benny’s fucking birthday. Doorman Jason: Benny misses you. Khyber Cathy: Use them guest list spots.
