dr. dogPondering why Dr. Dog aren’t rich yet, PBJ finally learns the harsh truth that has pretty much been a commonplace since, oh, 1993?

“They’re not really seeing royalties. They’re getting great press, but they’re opening tours. They’re getting a lot of exposure, but much less money [than the top act],” said David Lewis, the band’s Chicago-based publicist. “They might get $100 a night. For five dudes, that’s not a lot. That’s eating at Taco Bell every day. That’s bean and burrito.”
