This Weekend: Get Exactly What’s Coming To You

ben
Too much shit to mention here. Get it sneaky style after the jump.
Friday:
>>> There’s a house party somewhere, with bands and DJs, but it would be wrong to tell you about it. Here’s how you can make your own: 30 pack of Miller, iPod connector to your stereo, and lots of PCP. Do it up.
>>> Go to The Philadelphia Experiement at Silk City. What is the experimental part, you ask? Oh, right: Playing 4 different house records on 4 different turntables at the same time. Somewhere, Giorgio Moroder is crying.
>>>
Saturday:
>>> Go see Dickey/Mills/Stoltzfus/Walker — whoops, they’re now called Great Speckled Bird — at The Manhattan Room. Seriously. Darren/Dyke opens, apparently, so, you know, be careful about that.
>>> OR you could go see The A-Sides/Enon/Swearing At Motorists at The Khyber. Philebrity wants to “do it” to two of these three bands. Can you guess which ones? Here’s a hint: Cool Doug totally wants to bone one of them, too.
>>> But before all that, do a little community service, you dirty gentrifier:

The Arab-American CDC and the Kensinton South CDC are sponsoring a clean-up of one of the most blighted corners in North Philadelphia, the corner of Cadwallader and Oxford Streets right off of Germantown Ave. We will be getting down to work at 8:00 on Saturday March 26th, and we could use your help. The Al-Aqsa Mosque will be providing food, and beverage. Gloves, Shovels, Rakes, etc, will be provided. The Kensington South Community Development Corporation is a non-profit dedicated to the economic, residential, and social growth of the neighborhood of Kensington South.

Sunday:
>>> Don’t even act like the season finale of Carnivale isn’t gonna be maximum creepers.
>>> Not creepy enough for you? Carlos D spins HPV jams at Transit for the Interpol afterparty.
