Folks, if you read one news item about our esteemed City Council this week, make it this one. In this week’s episode, a hearing about unpaid Linc contractors goes haywire as Rick Mariano declares that “You’re not out of order, the whole fuckin’ system is out of order!” Not really, but still.

“In the neighborhood I came from, if you hold my money too long, somebody’s going to get cracked on the side of the head,” Mariano said. “I told you before you came in here, don’t bull—- us.”

Not content to merely bully the floor, Mariano also disrespected a black woman (Sacaree Rhodes), nearly got his ass kicked by Jamal Johnson of the Contractors Roundtable, and somewhere in there, we’re pretty sure we saw him reach into his pants so he could give someone the poo finger on the way out.
