One Philly Vs. New City Vs. Philly1, Or: Harry B. Cook Puts The Smack Down On Perpetratin’ Frauds
Some of you may recall a little while back when we so viciously clowned a little rag called New City Philadelphia. That was awesome. And then, when it went under, we clowned that, too. I know. We’re mean. Boo hoo. But apparently, and we didn’t realize this until just now, our clowning of Powerhouse Media has really not yet even begun. (Get a load of that name! They’re just asking for it, your honor!) Apparently, these knuckleheads, not knowing when to quit, have started hatching plans for a new rag, the oh-so-imaginatively-titled One Philadelphia, and have come under fire almost immediately from Harry B. Cook’s Philly1.com, which has held that name and trademark and been operating in public for the last seven years. Way to do some market research, you fucking knuckleheads. Philebrity has obtained some of the initial papers regarding this matter, and man, it doesn’t look good for those POWERHOUSES over at POWERHOUSE Media, nyuknyuknyuk. More as this story develops.
