Pitchfork Catches Diplo Fever
Errr-body who went to the last Hollertronix got this crazy Diplo/M.I.A. collab. They were on the freeshit table, so we grabbed one, not thinking much. But holy shit, we have not stopped listening to it since. And apparently, neither has some dude at Pitchfork, who sayeth:
On Halloween M.I.A. showed up in Philadelphia for her Fader gig, sat herself under a big fucking Christmas tree, and dished out free copies of Piracy Funds Terrorism, Vol. 1, the mixtape masterpiece she and Diplo Hollertronix had spent the 10 previous days putting together in his apartment. Batteries included!
Indeed, it is true. And it fucking slams the new U2 record 8.5 to 6.9. Nice work, Hollerdeezy.
