Last Friday we posted an item about Concerts For Change promoter Amanda Kimmell throwing a world class shit fit on some hipster message board. Basically, she wanted to call out Khyber booker Stacie George for not letting the bands have enough guests on their lists or… whatever, it was total bullshit anyway. So we linked to the thread that was all about… wow, I’m not even interested in this, and I’m the one writing it! Anyhow, suffice it to say that people were up in arms because the Kimm had sufficiently rabble-roused, even though (and we have this on good authority) Kimmell apparently thinks anything anyone says on the internet is joke anyway. We thought that would be the end of it. But within minutes, we received the following phone call. (A phone call, I know! Who the fuck calls people on the phone anymore?)
Philebrity: Hello?
Amanda Kimmell: WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Philebrity: Amanda?
Amanda Kimmell: I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT! NO YOU DI’INT!
Philebrity: Listen, it was a reader tip. We’re loyal to our readers. So we posted it.
Amanda Kimmell: BUT NOW I’M GOING TO GET IN TROUBLE! (Starts cackling an obscene, Lucille Ball-esque “Waaaah!”)
Philebrity: Well, maybe you should have thought about that before you went on some public message board and started acting insane.
Amanda Kimmell: WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?
